 AP Physics 1 Exam 중요 업데이트가 있으니, 시험을 준비하는 학생들은 꼭 참고해 주시기 바랍니다. 

AP Physics 2와 내용이 중복되는 Unit 8 ~ Unit 10 을 더 이상 AP Physics 1에서 다루지 않기로 결정했습니다.

AP Physics 1 Exam에서는 더 이상 Unit 8 ~ Unit 10 을 다루지 않기로 했지만, 기존 학교에서는 수업을 담당하고 있는 선생님들의 재량에 따라 unit 10까지 진도를 나갈 수 있다는 점도 참고해야 할 부분 중 하나입니다.    실제 AP 시험도 중요하지만 학생들의 GPA도 중요하니 학교에서의 수업에 만반의 준비를 다 해야 할 것입니다.

 

실제 AP Physics 1 Exam의 포맷에 대해서 정리를 해 놓을테니, 5월에 있을 시험을 준비하는 학생들은 참고하시기 바랍니다. 

Exam Format

Section 1. Multiple Choice:  50 Questions / 1 hour 30 minutes / 50% of Exam Score

                                              * Questions are either discrete questions or questions sets, in which students are provided with                                             a stimulus or a set of data and series of related questions.

                                         * The section includes 5 individual multiple-select questions (2 options are correct).

 

Section 2. Free-Response:  5 Questions / 1 hour 30 minutes / 50% of Exam Score

                                              * This section contains 5 free-response questions of the following types.

                                         1. Experimental Design (1 questions)

                                             Unit 1. Kinematics  

                                             Unit 3. Circular Motion and Gravitation  

                                             Unit 5. Momentum                         

                                             Unit 6. Simple Harmonic Motion

                                         2. Qualitative / Quantitative Translation (1 questions)

                                          3. Short Answer: Paragraph Arguments (1 questions)
